IBM announces its latest line of computers
The computer manufacturers, IBM have created an ace position by offering to users’ computers that are high on performance and low on glitches. Latest from their arsenal are the next generation computers that perform at a speed which is much faster when compared to all others. This innovative line of computers, which is named as ‘skyscraper’ as for now is anticipated to work say thousand times better than all its existing predecessors. Anyone reading this may find this a truth too hard to digest, but the company has already made this clear in a recent press release.
Based on the use of silicon chips layered by placing and stacking them on one top of the other, in this many tiny units are all amalgamated into one to help computers get the speed that’s anticipated. IBM is not alone on this venture and 3M is working with them to create computers and smartphones that are very fast. With no definite date still revealed, but the same is said to hit the markets in 2013.

These new glues are touted to conduct extra heat through this stack of piled chips preventing the same from reaching the logic circuits. If this heat manages to reach these circuits it will cause them to burn thus affecting the system significantly. This stack would contain not just few but around 100 silicon chips, which mind it is not easy to assemble.
The glue in the whole exercise will play an indispensable role that will help in spreading the heat evenly thus preventing the problem from turning more severe. Development of a new class of semiconductors is also on the cards that will be included in smartphones and tablets to help them function at a much faster speed than before.
IBM has managed to do it different by bringing for users something exclusive always. The new line of ‘skyscrapers’ is another add-on that is something no other may have managed to achieve till day. Whether it’s the IBM help or the IBM support, everything from this firm has always managed to make headlines. Now, let’s see what this new, first of its kind computer line up will bag for IBM and 3M.
